Shipping policy

**COVID-19 UPDATE**  At this time, and with the necessary precautions in place to support the continued safety of our staff and our suppliers, we are happy to confirm that orders are being processed and shipped with normal handling times.  Some transit delays may occur beyond our control, and we will continue to monitor each and every shipment to keep our customers up to date with the most current information available.  We wish the very best of health to you and your loved ones. 

Our team at Hort & Home works tirelessly to bring you an extensive array of design elements for your home and garden.  These items are sourced from suppliers, artists, and manufacturers across the country, meaning that shipping timelines may vary from item to item. 

Typically, items will ship within 2 days of purchase, and transit time is then generally between 1-4 days.  We will notify you once your items have shipped, along with carrier/tracking information and estimated delivery date(s).  Items purchased at the same time will not necessarily ship together due to package shapes/size restrictions as well as possibly different warehouse locations. 

Small packages most commonly ship via UPS, FedEx, or USPS, or other trusted carriers at our discretion.  Larger consignments shipping via freight will deliver via common carrier of our choice.  Shipments are up to first threshold only unless prior arrangements have been agreed upon for delivery inside your home.  Carriers will not be responsible for unpacking or installing items, or for removing packaging debris related to your purchase(s).  In most cases, and unless otherwise agreed in advance, shipments will be sent “no signature required”, however carriers have the right to leave a call tag instead of leaving the shipment, if they do not feel comfortable to leave the package(s) unattended.  Sorry, we cannot ship to PO boxes. 

At this time, we can only provide shipping at the stated rates to within the 48 contiguous United States.  For shipping inquiries to other destinations, we would still love to figure out an efficient solution for you, so please contact us for quotes at hello@hortandhome.com.
